About Me
My Background
I am a VC turned operator, entrepreneur and angel investor, with background in Investments, Strategy, Corporate Development, and Global Operations, Alum of UC Berkeley.
I founded Diligence Africa and Diligence Global, two investment advisory firms that provide investors with Risk Intelligence and Due Diligence services, and businesses with Fractional CFO services, Accounting Services, Governance & Compliance services, Fundraising and Investment Readiness Training programs.
Before that, I led global operations, growth and expansion for TradeX, a digital marketplace platform for used cars where I scaled operations into Latin America, Japan, Africa and the Middle East. I co-founded Grupa to solve challenges around talent and productivity. Grupa matches technical talent in big tech to startups and provides embedded tools to accelerate their productivity and manage product development.
Prior to this, I was at EchoVC Partners, a seed and early-stage venture capital firm, one of Africa's first VC firms as its first employee for six years, handling every fund task and operation including deal sourcing, fund management and fundraising, portfolio operations, legal and regulatory compliance, transaction advisory, etc. EchoVC later became TPG's small cheque platform for Africa and we started deploying $1 - 5Million investments into Series A and B deals.
